Mike Sanford

Director of Southern Nevada

Mike Sanford lives in the Summerlin area of Las Vegas with his wife of 48 years, Melinda. They have two grown children, Lindsay and Mike, along with 6 grandchildren. 

Mike spent 43 years as a college and NFL Football Coach, which included serving as Head Football Coach at UNLV from 2005-2009. Before he joined FCA staff, he spent 5 years as the Head Football Coach and Associate Director of Advancement at Faith Lutheran High School in Las Vegas. 

Kinsey Minter

Support Kinsey
Kinsey Minter is from Phoenix Arizona and graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2015 on a track and volleyball scholarship. Although she grew up attending and leading FCA in school, her love for FCA grew at Nevada when she discovered her passion for student ministry through camps and discipleship opportunities.

Lauren Roback

UNLV Campus Director/RDIA- Nordic Countries

 Lauren was raised on FCA and has been on staff for over 10 years, since graduating from Western Carolina University in 2011. She has served in many roles, but has found her heart at the college level, specifically serving female athletes and coaches. She and her husband, Derek were both college athletes and moved to Las Vegas from Atlanta, GA in 2020, where Lauren serves as a female chaplain/Campus Director for UNLV as well as the US international director for our teammates in the Nordic countries.

Jorge Hernandez

Area Representative: Part-Time

 Jorge Hernandez started with FCA in 2016, and since then he's seen God transform the lives of coaches and athletes with the powerful combination of sports and the Christian faith. 

Through the seven different high school huddles, camps, and other activities, coaches and athletes have grown into authentic Christ-followers in Las Vegas.

Jermone Riley

Area Representative: Part-Time

Jermone is native of Las Vegas, with over twenty-five years of experience as a college basketball player, assistant basketball coach, athletic director and educator. As a coach and mentor, Riley was well known for developing players and maintaining long lasting relationships with the athletes that he served. Riley was called to join the FCA staff in the summer of 2022. He will serve as the NV Area Representative, working with the FCA local team to fulfill the FCA Vision. Which is to see the world transformed by Jesus Christ through the influence of coaches and athletes.
